Classroom Activities (Key Stage 2)

The classroom activities are structured learning and teaching opportunities with an emphasis on the Olympic and Paralympic values. They therefore have a strong Personal Development and Mutual Understanding element. There is also relevance to other Areas of Learning throughout the activities.

What are your Values?	The children explore the values of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. They learn to identify these values in their own and others behaviour. All Around the World	The children explore the international aspect of games. They find out about Olympic and Paralympic sporting heroes. They look at sports they may not be familiar with. Flags and Symbols	Looking at flags from around the world, and what they mean, the children explore symbols of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
