PE (Key Stage 2)

The PE activities use the ethos and values of the Olympic and Paralympic Games as the focus of a variety of athletics, dance and games activities.

The activities are structured assuming that classes have at least two PE lessons per week and that they concentrate on a different theme each week, developing the skills required in athletics. It is essential to warm up and cool down properly, teach the correct techniques and consider all safety risks, especially in throwing and jumping activities.
