Teachers and parents have always recognised that learning is about more than just what happens in the classroom – what is learned outside the classroom can also contribute significantly to personal development.

COPE provides young people with the opportunity to take part in a range of activities that help develop and demonstrate a range of personal, key and employability skills leading to personal effectiveness. In turn they can give something back to their community and also obtain recognition and accreditation. Our Certificate of Personal Effectiveness Level 3 (CoPE) qualification rewards achievement for just such activities.

CoPE provides a framework for the development, assessment and accreditation of skills achieved through a wide range of enrichment activities. We have worked closely with relevant bodies supporting these enrichment activities to ensure CoPE appeals to young people.
