Planning the next step isn’t always easy and you need to make sure that you are not closing down your course options, even at GCSE, when you make your subject choices.

Many Universities and HEIs are open to you – in Northern Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland, the Republic of Ireland and even further afield in the European Union and worldwide.

With all that choice and complexity, it is never too early to start thinking about what you might want to study and where. You will need information about the range of courses, academic entry requirements, timelines, communications and application processes.

That’s why this secition has been designed, with the support of a focus group of students and careers teachers, to signpost relevant information and to help you (and your parents and teachers) successfully navigate the various application processes.
