CCEA thanks its examiners
CCEA’s Interim Director of Qualifications Michael McAuley and Education Manager Helen Parks thanked examiners Ian Connor, Sam Wolfenden and Neil McArdle for their continued commitment as they attended a meeting at CCEA headquarters.

As Northern Ireland students eagerly await their A level and GCSE results this week and next, over 7000 examiners and moderators have been hard at work assessing exam papers and coursework to enable students to progress to the next stage of their journey.

Made up of highly skilled teachers and lecturers from across the country, CCEA’s examiners and moderators assessed over 750,000 pieces of students’ work this year and CCEA’s Interim Director of Qualifications, Michael McAuley, would like to acknowledge their essential contribution.

Having such a high number of professional and committed experts marking and moderating our young people’s work, allows our A Level and GCSE students to continue their educational journey or move into employment with confidence.

On behalf of CCEA, I would like to praise all 7000 examiners and moderators who supported us with this year’s examination series by providing their expertise and sharing their valuable time.

As we look ahead to tomorrow’s and next Thursday's results days, we wish students all the best and hope they do well in their future endeavours.
