Most students in Northern Ireland take GCSE and AS/A Level qualifications with CCEA. Guidance for CCEA qualifications was published on 5 March 2021. However, there are students who also take qualifications with AQA, WJEC/Eduqas, OCR and Pearson. These qualifications will follow JCQ published guidance which was released on 26 March 2021.

The CCEA process, GCSE, AS and A level Awarding Summer 2021: Alternative Arrangements – Process for Heads of Centre, alongside the subject support materials for the full suite of CCEA GCE qualifications and 25 GCSE qualifications are available to view at ccea.org.uk/summer-2021.

The JCQ process, 'JCQ Guidance on the determination of grades for A/AS Levels and GCSEs for Summer 2021', is available on JCQ’s website.

Further support materials for GCSE and subject webinars will be released over the coming weeks.
