The work of some of Northern Ireland's most exceptional young artists will be on display at the Ulster Museum during January and February. CCEA’s True Colours is a showcase of the outstanding artwork produced for the summer 2019 GCE, GCSE & Entry level examinations.

Today, Thursday 12 August 2021, 10,297 students from 180 schools and colleges in Northern Ireland received the results of their 2021 Vocational, Occupational Studies and Entry Level qualifications.

Becoming an examiner/moderator with CCEA is an opportunity for further professional development whilst boosting your income. Currently there are opportunities to join CCEA as an examiner or moderator at both GCSE and GCE level.

Students due to receive their CCEA A level results online on Thursday 15 August will have been issued a unique PIN number by their school/college.

CCEA recently partnered with Nerve Centre, Belfast, at W5 Learning Centre, and Belfast School of Art Ulster University, to deliver a support event for teachers who are keen to understand better the opportunities for young people in Northern Ireland’s Creative Industries.

Pupils from Glenlola Collegiate emerged as winners of the third annual NI Schools Business Challenge. In association with the Henderson Group, BDO Northern Ireland and Queen’s Management School, 13 teams made up from schools across Northern Ireland took part in the competitive competition.

CCEA are holding a series of webinars for A2 Exemplification of Examination Performance following the first full award of the revised A2 Level specification in Summer 2018.

As part of Northern Ireland Languages Week (30 January – 3 February) CCEA is raising awareness of the benefits studying languages can have on school children.

The Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) has set up a dedicated results helpline which offers advice and guidance for students who are expecting their 2021 results to include GCE, GCSE, CoPE, Entry Level, Occupational Studies, Online Language Assessment (OLA) and Vocational Qualifications.

CCEA has today announced a public consultation about the proposed changes to CCEA Entry Level, Vocationally Related and Occupational Studies qualifications due to be assessed in January and Summer 2021. The proposals are in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on learners across Northern Ireland.
