A new bespoke digital maths resource has been developed for pupils in Irish-medium schools throughout Ireland.

New ‘Ready to Vote?’ educational resources have been released by CCEA and the Electoral Office for Northern Ireland to coincide with the 2021 electoral canvass coming 1 July.

CCEA has confirmed its approach to awarding qualifications in the academic year 2022/2023.

CCEA has confirmed today that any pupil wishing to appeal summer 2020 GCSE, AS or A Level examination results will be able to do so free of charge.

“Fairness is the guiding principle of CCEA’s approach to delivering grades for GCSE, AS and A level students in Summer 2020. Students can be assured and have confidence that the grades they receive in August 2020 will reflect their hard work, enabling them to progress as planned onto the next stage of their journey,” said Justin Edwards, CCEA Chief Executive.

As part of Northern Ireland Languages Week (30 January – 3 February) CCEA is raising awareness of the benefits studying languages can have on school children.

This week CCEA, as part of Outdoor Classroom Day, met with St James’s Primary School, Whitehouse Primary School, and Hazelwood Integrated Primary School to see how children are learning and exploring outside of the traditional classroom setting.
