The Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) has thanked examiners and moderators for their ongoing contribution to this year’s summer examination process and for their continued support in enabling students and young people to progress to the next stage of their education or career pathway.

Over 1,300 pupils and teaching professionals participated in the latest Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment’s (CCEA) Period Dignity Pilot Scheme surveys.

Today, Thursday 16 December 2021, CCEA has published the findings from the Period Poverty surveys, which assessed the frequency and extent of period poverty across schools and colleges in Northern Ireland.

The Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) has today, 2 June 2021, shared the initial findings from its recent consultation on the Summer 2021 Post-Results Service.

CCEA’s Post-Results Service for 2021 is now live for those students that may wish to challenge their Summer 2021 grade. This year, once again, CCEA’s Post-Results service will be free to so students can benefit from the wide range of resources available.

Today, Thursday 27 May 2021, the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) has published the Assessment Arrangements for all CCEA Qualifications for 2021 and 2022.

Today (27 February), CCEA published Advance Information for the majority of GCSE, AS and A2 exams that will take place in Summer 2023.

CCEA has today published the guidance and process for schools and colleges on how the alternative awarding arrangements for Summer 2021 CCEA qualifications will operate following the cancellation of this year’s exams by the Minister of Education, Peter Weir MLA.
