Fermanagh Black Bacon is an award-winning specialist meat retailer. It is owned by the O’Doherty family who keep a herd of pigs on Inishcorkish Island on Upper Lough Erne, County Fermanagh. The O’Doherty family butcher business started in 1957 with the aim to offer the best quality produce. This has remained their core focus since. In 1994 O’Doherty’s was crowned All-Ireland Burger Champions. The Fermanagh Black Bacon was launched in 2004. Customers travel from all over the world to visit Inishcorkish island and the store. Fermanagh Black Bacon is sold in Harrods and exclusive food halls all over the UK and Ireland. The NI Tourism awards gave Fermanagh Black Bacon a Taste of NI award in 2014.
