Liam Neeson
Liam Neeson is Northern Ireland’s most famous Hollywood actor. He was born in 1952 in Ballymena. In the 1970s he began his acting career in the Lyric Theatre, Belfast. By the 1980s he had appeared in many films. He was nominated for Best Actor at the Golden Globe awards in the 1990s. In 2005 he provided the voice for Aslan in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
