W5

W5 opened in 2001 and is an award-winning Science and Discovery Centre in Belfast. W5 stands for who, what, where, when, why. W5 has over 250 interactive exhibits where you can find answers to the 5 W questions, learn many new things about STEM and have fun too. There are also large- and small-scale temporary exhibitions and events. W5 supports education in Northern Ireland. There is an education section developed to support the curriculum. It helps teachers and pupils explore the exhibits, workshops, demonstrations and special events on offer, to learn and to have fun.
